THE TABLE & TOAST NOTEBOOK
Meet a fictional celebration
Avery & Jordan’s sample has 18 fictional guest records, 16 attending replies, one pending reply, and one declined reply. Sixteen attending guests are assigned across three tables with six seats each. The two remaining guests are unassigned.
A same-name check you can actually try
Alex Morgan appears twice, with IDs G-0002 and G-0003. They are separate people, not accidental duplicates to be automatically merged. The list highlights the repeated name, and both IDs remain in the printed outputs.
One list, four paper pieces
The attending-only PDF includes 16 guests and explicitly excludes the two other replies. The A–Z page helps guests locate their tables. Per-table rosters support a final count. Flat place cards pair each name with a table number. Table-number cards help label the actual tables.
For a quick check, switch to All guests in the print screen. You will see 18 included, 0 excluded, and 2 unassigned. The unassigned records remain in the PDF with an explicit label; they are not silently omitted.
Try a reversible change
- Open Seat your guests.
- Use a guest’s dropdown to move them to Table 1, already at its sample capacity.
- Observe the over-capacity warning.
- Use Undo to return to the sample assignment.
- Choose your paper size and review the PDF population.
